re:publica conference within Sequencer Tour Los Angeles
In just a few days the re:publica conference within the Sequencer Tour is kicking off in Los Angeles. Just like in Berlin, we're bringing a fantastic program - see for yourself!
It feels like just yesterday that the first responses to our Call for Participation reached us earlier this year, including enthusiastic proposals for talks dealing with "Politics & Society" and "Leisure and Lifestyle", as well as a variety of suggestions for hands-on formats, spoken word sessions, and virtual reality experiences that shed light on the times we live in.
The programme team and the independent programme committee read through every single idea and weighed them all carefully. We have put together a carefully curated program featuring some of the best ideas proposed by the community, our speakers, and our partner contributors - a programme that highlights the current debates in net culture, questions around the future of the human being, and workshops centered around traditional craftsmanship - all with a focus on Germany and USA.
We've prepared participatory activities for you, and for anyone who still can't tear themselves away from the community at the end of the work day we have a fantastic evening program with DJ duo Nordmeister. We're proud and excited to be able to share the timetable with you for the Sequencer Tour conference programme in LA by re:publica.
So register now! Block your calendars on November 5 in downtown LA for a full re:publica day, arrange to meet with friends, share the sessions that you're going to visit online, and expand your networks.
We can't wait to welcome you to our first re:publica event in the US!
The timetable of our conference programme can be found here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
P.S.: For those who can't be with us in LA - there will be a live stream!
