In his lecture "The garbage removal on the Internet", director Moritz Riesewieck revealed in 2016 at re:publica Berlin what happens to the millions of images of violence and pornography that social networks do not impose on us.The utopian vision of a networked global Internet community finally becomes a nightmare when high-ranking former Facebook & Co. employees provide insights into the functioning and mechanisms of the platforms.
